The news making a buzz around the tinsel town is that Hollywood biggie Tom Cruise has sold his Hollywood Hills Estate for a loss of $1.6 million. The gated property built in the European style was sold finally for $11.4 million which is lesser than the price is invested early in March. The actor bought the property for $13 million back in March. The property was occupied by his sister currently. The 2.5 acre estate was mean for scientology retreat. The property consists of the main house and a visitor’s mansion. Cruise bought the main property in the year 2005 for $9.85 million and later added the adjacent property for $1.8 million making it a total of $11.6 million. Cruise has also made some home improvements on this property, and the value mentioned above is exclusive of embellishments.
This is not the first property of Cruise that has been sold in the recent past. Last November the actor sold his Colorado estate for $59 million. A year previous to that, his New York Townhouse property was listed for $28 million. This is not all his East Village condo was also up for sale for $3 million. Looks like the star is in deep trouble selling his possessions one after the other. The actor occupies the Beverly Hills mansion right now that was bought for $30.5 million way back in 2007.
Hollywood Hills estate comes with an overwhelming view of the city from the outdoor terrace. The property houses massive rooms and expensive furniture. The entrance has a huge gate that takes to an old doorway. Oak cabinets have taken its place in the kitchen and bath. The wooden floors blend perfectly with the white sofas in the lounge area that is decorated with a beautifully lit false ceiling. The French windows give an amazing view of the exteriors.
